I am thinking of scooping up locally a powermac G5 2.0 DP PCI-X 2 with bad cpu it has been tested at apple and thats what the tech told the owner. My question is can I purchase a different CPU like a 1.8 and install it? Any help would be useful and if I'm asking a poor question just inform me thanks much for the help.
