Howdy,
They seem quite clear to me. Full speed for USB as always referred to
the 12 Mbit/s speed. I guess I would say buyers should always beware,
but a little research does not hurt. I remember when USB 2.0 came out
and the new speed was called Hi-Speed. I saw quite a few devices for a
while that said they were USB 2.0 Full Speed. I knew what it meant and
also knew some people would not. Whenever you get a USB 3.0 setup, be
sure it is capable of Super Speed if you want to see any speed
advantage.
Finally, the way they described it is pretty much what they needed to
say. There are slight signalling differences between USB 2.0 and USB
1.1 devices. Even though the card only does 12 MBit/s, it is important
to know for a few devices that it is a USB 2.0 card, and not a USB 1.1
card. I had something a few years ago where this made a difference,
although I don't remember what it was.
Good day,
Ralph
