Here's my hand. I did not see the article at the end of the email; did see the
link and went directly to the article. Another click for the ad guys.
I would have been more concerned of taking up too much wordage and wasted
bandwidth when a link was all that was needed.
But hey, you are right in defending copyright laws, though they are somewhat
vague and untested. These days someone may end up in the county jail for jay
walking. So are the times.
