Believe it or not, the logic board should have a sticker with the
revision letter on it. I have a purple (can't deal with the whole
blueberry/indigo/Bondi thing: it's PURPLE) 333Mhz iMac which should
have been revision B, but when I opened it up found that it was
actually an upgraded revision A. (So it should be Bondi. I think. It
still looks purple to me, though.)

As for the processor speed, I don't know the first thing about OS 8.6,
so can't help you there. Why don't you upgrade it to OS 9? They also
run Panther without third-party help --having USB ports is the
prerequisite. That would make things easier for you before upgrading.
