Now, I bought a PowerLine Universal AC Adaptor and I have plugged in the old
USB 4-Port Hub
It says DC 5V on the Hub but the closest the Adaptor will go without going
under (4.5V) that amount is 6V
Apple had once told me that would be fine if I ever got a new cord for this
Hub
When I plugged in the Hub and then turned it from bus-powered to
self-powered all the USB drives showed up (they were mounted)
Should what Id id solve my problem as the load has been taken off the bus
and put onto the power cord?
