The cables are simply used to power devices, not transmit signals, so, for 
example, you could charge a USB device from the firewire port.

The first thing on that page is just a FW/USB combo Cardbus card.

I have no clue what that trendnet thing is...

But if you're looking, no there is no such thing as a Firewire to USB adapter 
for signals.
