Classic is gone under 10.5, the mention of 10.5 in that KB article is absolutely in error.

You can install OS 9.0.4 or lower in Sheepshaver <http://sheepshaver.cebix.net/>.

I've found Sheepshaver to be sluggish and/or crashy - depending on what apps you're trying to use. IMO, best to run a test or to name the specific apps involved and hope someone on these lists can confirm that those particular apps are ok or not...
