Am I to understand, then, that it is advisable to do both of the above when attempting to install a HD larger than 128 GB in a Sawtooth Power Mac G4, and that the partitioning is necessary only IF you "force" recognition of the larger HD? Not that I would know how to add the "48-bit LBA Property" (or anything) to the PRAM...
