In your home folder, there's ~/.Trash
and up at the root level of the volume is /.Trashes
Because the names start with a dot, they're automagically invisible

Hope this doesn't confuse the issues at hand ... but can't you look
at / locate the invisible files via Finder > Go > Go to Folder ...
I wouldn't recommend doing anything to them though, if that is then
possible ...
