I'm from Austria, so maybe things are different over here.


The G3-G4's use half-sized AA batteries, which are some (if not that one that 
isn't "half") standard. You should find them at places where they sell 
electronic parts at suitable prizes. I bought mine at a regular electonics 
shop (where they sell all kinds of diodes, capacitors, fuses, ... and 
batteries!) here in Austria.

If you prefer the internet: search for "1/2 AA" or "half AA" plus "3.6V 
Lithium" and you should find what you need.


The G5 also use these 1/2 AA batteries, except for the "Late 2005" PCIe / 
Dual-Core models. The Dual-Core-G5's use a 3V coin cell lithium battery 
labeled "CR2032" which is widely used in all kinds of stuff. You should even 
find this one in a supermarket...
