The number of pins and other physical characteristics (exception: length)
are the same as a PCMCIA/Cardbus, but the functions are different.

An ingenious use of an otherwise "open" standard to create a "closed"
specification, not unlike the many G3 and G4 PSUs which are, otherwise,
ATX.
