Oh, yes, yes, yes, as I suspected - works fine in Tiger, a no go in Leopard. I was able to get the card to boot once in Leopard (single user mode), but it still had the artifacts mentioned present, and then it would not repeat mounting on a reboot. SO, it appears to be unsupported in Leopard - too bad, a somewhat nice card. Given my general alacrity for Nvidia, I'm not surprised. Thanks for responding, Dan (and Baldassare).
