You may get it to "run" But that is no at all the same as having a capable system. From my experience such mismatches lead to a lot of head ache, heart ache and loss of production. The "savings" is not worth the true cost. I would rather have an old version running on an appropriate hardware platform than the latest version running on an underpowered or glitchy system. Some might advise 10.6 and FCS on a cheaper yet higher power Hackintosh but that would come with its own problems. Trying to do the latest quality work on old equipment is an LEM tradition. But let's face it it is becoming very hard. -- Adrian D'Alessio aka; Fluxstringer [email protected] http://www.flickr.com/photos/fluxstreamcommunication/ http://www.facebook.com/FluxStringer http://www.linkedin.com/in/fluxstreamcommunications http://flux-influx.blogspot.com/ http://fluxdreams.designbinder.com/ -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
