i found this on the console log: 1969-12-31 19:21:24.201 System Preferences[257] Unable to load nib file: MainMenu, exiting. this came up as i clicked on system preferences under the left apple. do you know what it means? i am trying to get the time and date set and i can not open it or the system preferences under the left apple.
