Alex, Dark_Mac,
You're right, Thanks!
I thought I had tried the Alt key.

Now I can confidently include a PC keyboard with a G4.
The other key needed - F12 to open the Optical drive tray - is a direct match. Anyone think of something that would NOTt work on a PC keyboard attached to a G4?

Dale

Hi!
I've set up a G4 to dual boot from a Jaguar drive and a Ubuntu drive - both internal. No problem using a Mac keyboard to choose which volume to boot into, just hold down the "Option" key. The problem is what to do with a PC keyboard. None of the three lower left keys will do the trick.

Does anyone know how to choose boot volume at startup on a G4 using a PC keyboard?

Thanks,
