Aye, it's the only way the video actually *works* without corruption,
but no 3D accel worth writing home about yet. I may have to enable
xorg-edgers to see how it's improved lately; haven't touched it in a
month or so. However I want to see what my options are for 3D accel
that's actually deemed "mostly stable".

The G5 is better in every way than the current machine I'm using
otherwise, which includes "not spontaneously rebooting when my cat
rubs up against it"
