One of my (too many) side projects was a not-yet-ready to be published website for Home Theater PowerPC - using a G3, G4, or G5 Macintosh and various audio and video equipment to (inexpensively) make a home theater, audio/video jukebox and/or legacy gaming system.

I've got several mostly finished pages (65% done?) with various how-to info, pics and links, but no time to keep researching and playing with different things - much less time to complete the site and polish it.

I've tried to make sure all the graphics are either not copyrighted, or I did them myself. I also tried to focus on freeware and open-source software, but some of it isn't - also some of the software descriptions are copied and pasted directly, so please don't publish yet yourself as-is without changing. And I can't garuntee complete accuracy - I haven't had time to research every scenario, etc.

Anyhow - if anyone in the group is interested in taking this endeavor over (or, even if you are just interested in HTPPC) please email me directly at [email protected] with HTPPC in the subject and I'll reply with the website as-is; a 1.8 MB zipped file consisting of 7 incomplete web pages (still easily viewable in any web browser), a CSS file and an image folder of 99 images (I used maybe half).

Eric
