My G5 1.8 single (late 2004) has an Nvidia 5200 card w/ that same connector. My best guess is that since AGP does not have pins for Power and USB, that's what it's for. Only macs that originally shipped with ADC connectors would have that port - so not all G5's have it from what I understand.
