Easy swap. Processors /would/ /be/ cooler, but I also swapped a Dual-1 GHz with a Dual-1.42 GHz processor card. Avoid operating any MDD opened though, as the temperature will rise quickly wihout the cooling air flow through the heatsink, which is only the case when the case is closed. If you're planning on getting one of these copper heatsinks: be warned! Last I've seen they where still quite expensive on eBay. About $50 to $70 only for the heatsink is definitely at a price level where you should consider twice if it is really worth it!
