I recently went back to 10.4 Tiger from 10.5 Leopard on both my iMac and PowerBook. I've lost some software options and features (QuickLook being the one I miss most) but I've gained stability. Also my BOINC Recent Average Credit has gone up, meaning that Tiger is using less resources than Leopard did.
