"IPC 10.5.6"?? What's IPC mean here, or where do I find that version of 10.5.6? Yeah, I know...you know what you mean, but I'm not that much up to speed on this stuff anymore, and must have missed the post somewhere that talks about what IPC is in this context? (Last one I built that really worked was with the Kalyway distro...several years ago...if that gives you an idea of how far out of sync I am.) I'd really like to get a 10.6 machine going one of these times...just to show it can be done... Thanks.

If you want to buy a complete machine that will work, I suggest the Dell Optiplex GX280. The only hardware you will need is an OSX supported ethernet card.
