Hi Gary:

When you put the CHUD tools into nap, do you also click on the "single
cpu" button? I had read some reports on freezing etc, when using nap
and double cpu mode together. When I use single cpu on my dual
processor MDDs it doesn't seem to slow them down, although this is a
subjective judgement. They are fast enough to do what I want them to
do and don't freeze up either.

Also, with my machines Leopard modifies the CHUD tools if I close
System Preferences (unlike Tiger). In Leopard I click the "-" button
on the window and keep it in the dock, and CHUD stays on nap and
single cpu.

Yrs., Bruce
