Thanks for the links Bruce. I took the tech weekly tip:
*.*.intellitxt.com/*
and applied it to my hosts file, flushed the cache then tested it here:
<http://www.vibrantmedia.com/related_content/testimonials.asp>
and it seems to be working. I can still see which words are linked, but
hovering or clicking on them does nothing.
This seemed easier than 'fixing' each browser individually, and I
already have an extensive block list anyway.
For those who might want to do the same:
Know what you are doing before modifying your hosts file. You could
disconnect your computer from the internet, and possibly even disconnect
yourself from the computer(?). Back up your hosts file before making any
changes.
