Googling for Error code 255 reveals that a lot of programs spit this error out when the local preferences are foo or the app is corrupted. Surefire check: Have your friend create another account on the machine. Log in as that user, then test Toast to see if it works. If it does, then the problem is SOMEwhere in his user Library folder, most likely a prefs file or possibly something in Application support, or a Toast folder, if there is one. If it doesn't work for the new user delete Toast and all the prefs/application support, etc, and re-install. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
