> Got another huge boatload of bounced emails today from > [email protected] - some dating as far back > as August of last year. This also happened around April 19 of this year.
Maybe the mechanics are like this: some robot sends our G-list postings to that Fusenet address ([email protected]) which then gets overloaded and sends us a "The user(s) account is temporarily over quota" message for each of those postings. (Fortunately, mine are promptly moved to my spam folder. Google Mail isn't perfect, but on such occasions, I'm really happy about it!) So it looks like this is in fact an attack aimed at fuse.net rather than at us; the originator "uses" our posts as ammunition to try and overload their server. -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
