Fry's Electronics had a special on the 1.5 TB version for $59.99.

The 2 TB version is now selling for $99.99.

With W-D soon to take over Hitachi's HD business unit, it looks like I
will be buying all Seagate for the foreseeable future, with a few
purchases of Samsung Spinrites, which have been very good to me (after a
mandatory drive firmware update for cache pollution).

As I run mainly Hackintoshes, I tend to use external USB 2.0 drives as
so-called EBDs (emergency boot drives), in cases of emergency, but those
have been surprisingly few ... perhaps once in the last several years.
