Hello! I'm running Final Cut Express 2 on my G4 MDD. When capturing footage the window freezes after 5 minutes every time and after a quick search it would appear it's because I need to use an older version of Quicktime.
I didn't get install discs with my machine but have found original G4 MDD installation discs for £12, result! This will mean a re-install to 10.3.2. If i do this Is there anything I should be aware of regards compatibility of other programmes etc? Can the automatic update be disabled so i don't update QT by mistake.? For example I use iTunes and an iphone3G on the same machine, any issues there?
