Could I use one of my Macs, as a Server through my DSL connection?
I am considering what to do since Verizon dropped the ability to use ftp with my artsite, through Adobe Golive. I could buy space on something like GoDaddy.com, but I don't care for the idea of another internet bill. Paying $24 a month for my ISP is enough. Since Verizon dropped ftp, I am still frustrated about it.
What would I need to set up one of my machines as such? Is it practical, considering: then, I would need to leave it running 24/7?
