I decided to add a four port USB 2.0 card to my Quicksilver. This

It works well ,except my sleep function no longer functions.I

This is a known issue with the NEC chipset; go through the archives
of this list it's been discussed many times. there are two solutions:
use partial sleep: put the monitor and HDD"s to sleep but leave the
mobo awake
get a USB card with a working chipset; I forget the manufacturer
right now.
IOGear has them.
I thought NEC chipsets were ok ... hmmm ... sorry if I misled anyone a
while ago in another thread.
