This will likely be a real ignorant question but...

I can start up a program (GRAPHIC CONVERTER) by clicking on a jpg or other picture file. this is all nice and such but I have NO idea -where- GC is residing on the drive... It doesn;t seem to be in the APPLICATIONS folder and a SEARCH doesn;t find it either.
What's my next move?
