Yes they'll run on a hub...in fact they may run even better, since you can put 
them up at a higher elevation for a decent signal, possibly.

The hub HAS to be a USB2.2 hub (any new one today is at least that speed, but 
I've got a couple of 'old reliables' laying about that are only 1.1), but they 
do work just fine.
