I have to turn them till I get a connection quite often, if that doesn't do it and you tested the voltage in at the DC board then the DC board is probably bad.
I think this goes on the PowerBook list, properly, BUT, as an aside, someone mentioned that the wires at the connector ends (power supply, power in to PB) were the parts most likely to break internal wires. I have been very careful with those parts of the wiring and, so far, have not had any problems of the sort you are experiencing now. I say this to help others who may read this. Sorry for your trouble.

Secondly, how about a cheap G4 PB power supply from Otherworldcomputing or PowerMax? ($30-40 last time I checked.
