Hi Team, I couldn't work out the best place to put this message, but thought here was most apt.
I have an iMac G3 (Indigo) lying about - I was wondering what the earliest MacOS that I could install on that G3? I'd prefer going back to System 6 or Mac OS 7 (7.5.3 is available for download) rather than OS8 or OS9. Additionally, what is the oldest OS that I can install on a PowerMac G3 (B&W)? I'm really looking to downgrade as far as possible. Take care. James. P.S. I upped the RAM to the max then installed OS X 10.4 on the G3 after a bit of tinkering - but it ran quite slowly (obvs!).
