I use a Rosewill (NewEgg's "captive" brand) RNX-N150UBE.

It comes with a detachable antenna and drivers are available for most
OSes, certainly including OS X (MacOS X's "new" name).

Works on true Macs as well as Hacks.

The RNX-N150UBE is 802.11b/g/n compatible and the manufacturer supports it
pretty well. I believe it is Realtek.
