Hi all! I discovered this group on LEM, excellent site by the way, and I'm anxious to participate. I'm quite a fan of Apple PPC based computers: currently I own a PowerBook G4 1,4 GHz (BT1.1) and a maxed-out badass Power Mac G5 PCI-X 2x2.0. My name is Ángel, but you can write it Angel anyway, and I'm from Albacete, a small town in Spain.
Yesterday, with news of a new iTunes version on the way and a quiet update to bring support to the iTunes 10 line for IOS 6 devices my fears were confirmed. iTunes 10.7 is Intel-only binary, so the last grand Apple piece of software drops support for the PPC Macs out there (and Leopard). It isn't that bad, after 7 years of the last PPC model released, but it's sad anyway. Are any of you planning to hold the IOS6 upgrade for your phones considering this? I own a MacBook 2006 also, so I think I'll have to move my library in order to upgrade. -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
