Does this one have an Apple Cinema monitor? One professor here had this happen and it turned out to be the power supply on his 23" monitor (which is tied into the video, usb and firewire ports). It was replaced under warrantee, then when a second one went, he made them replace it with the much beefier unit for a 31" and it's worked ever since. -- Bruce Johnson "Wherever you go, there you are" B.
