I got a cheap dual 1.25 and everything is better than ever before thanks to the increased speed of the dual CPU. When the MDD made too much noise in the summer - the dual running hotter than the single - I got the special developer's SW with which you can switch of one of the CPUs with software. Works well. Anyway I wish I was wrong in your case but there it is, my two cents ...
