Hi, I'm looking for a new DVD burner for my Mac G4. My old LaCie d2 DVD+/-RW has some serious problem with its power supply, two in a row got broken in a few years. Since it seems to be some sort of "inevitable design issue", I don't want to buy another power supply (doomed to the same fate I imagine...) so I have to resort to something new.
Is there something both affordable and compatible with a G4 running Tiger or Leopard ? Googling around I've seen that most of portable burners for laptops seems not to work with PPC machines (probably dued to some problems with usb 2.0 inteface...).
