I was getting plenty of those messages as well every time I did a Google search using Safari (5.0.6). I switched to TenFourFox and those messages went away. Performance much improved, as well, although videos cannot be viewed as TenFourFox does not support plug-ins.

Computer is a dual-1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 (MDD) running OS 10.5.8.

What extensions did / do you have installed in Safari?

I ran into the problem of these script warnings and their related SPODs a few weeks ago, on google services, yahoo, etc. The culprit turned out to be an update to ClickToPlugin 2.8.1. The author had modified it to fix some compatibility issues with the new Safari (coming with OS X Not Kitten), and had broken it for Leopard etc. He pushed the fix out on 7/17 (as vers 2.8.3), and voila no more script warnings.

Been playin around on FaceBook but have yet to see any script warnings there, this week. This with Safari on my QuickSilver running Leopard.
