Pulling the battery will dump the PRAM memory. If there is a CUDA switch on the mobo yes, get a small stick, reach in and hold it down at least 60 seconds.
CUDA looks like a tiny silver square with a black or red tiny button in the middle. Somewhere online there will be a photo or digaram of your mobo.
