I recently hauled this beast from 1999 out of storage for use with my Hackintosh. To my surprise, it’s still working after 15 years, as is the no-name ADC/DVI KVM I have it connected to the PC with. However, I just noticed a problem with the edges of the screen. There is an area of discoloration averaging about 1/8” around the edges of the screen. It’s not extreme, but it is noticeable. Colors are slightly skewed towards blue/green/purple. Is this a known issue with these old panels? Is there any way to correct it?
Sorry if this isn’t quite the right group for this, but since this panel was designed for G4s and G5s… Thanks, Eric -- -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
