I've been testing g4u on several systems and am pretty
happy with it. My only issue is with laptops which do
not have an internal ethernet. g4u never gets an IP
address with any of my Dells which have PCMCIA network
cards. I've tried the following 2:

Xircom RealPort 10/100+Modem 56 (REM56G-100)

Xircom CreditCard 10/100 CE3B-100BTX (with dongle)

It probes during boot, and tries to get an address for
about 2 minutes, then gives up and goes to the menu
(but without an IP address).

Anyone else with same problem using non-onboard
ethernet on laptops?
