I have two classrooms with 30 computers in each. On each pc win2000, fedora 4 and ubuntu systems are running. I was using powerquest to deploy images and thanks to scripting I made image deployment process very automatic. I could restore images on all computers remotely with two commands. But now I want to use ext3 file system and powerquest's deploy center have problems with this. So I decided to use g4u. I red all the archive trying to find solution, but I couldn't find instructions good enough for me (I'm newbie:S)

I want to make bootable g4u, which boots and do the following automaticly:
1) slurpdisk [EMAIL PROTECTED] c13.gz wd0
2) shutdown

As I understand I add "slurpdisk [EMAIL PROTECTED] c13.gz wd0" to the \g4u-2.1\distrib\i386\floppies\ramdisk-g4u\dot.profile. And I gues to add " shutdown" at the end of slurpdisk script. Is it possible that slupdisk logs in automaticly in ftp if there is password required?

And now the main question. How to compile this? Can I do it in fedora 4? Thanks!

Best regards, Arnis
