Chris McCafferty posted a short while ago about having rebuilt g4u on netbsd 3.0 and found it to have an affect on the performance of the network card drivers. I'm just posting to let you know that I tried your build of g4u 2.1 on a number of dell gx520 desktops which had been cloning very slowly for me.
The version built on 3.0 has solved this issue for me and these machines now clone about 4x quicker. Thanks for that. P.S. I tried several times over a number of days to comment on your blog about this but it doesnt seem to work.
