Hello everybody
may I ask about a problem arises on the speed transfer ?
The max speed achieved is limited to 1.5 - 1.7 MB/s, some around
10Mbit/sec ... all the network is working at 100Mbit/sec. I tried with 2
clients with the same problem. On both clients I did the following
- force the NIC to work at 100Mb full duplex
- connect the clients as close as possible to the server ... overpassing
all the switches.
- the unique installed and used switch,at least, is a D-Link switch
working at 1Gb
- the server we tried is filezilla (running under windows 2K)
- g4u is the last stable release, 2.1
- good utp cables (class 5)
what else ... could somebody tell me some tips ?
