I tried setting up
the NetBSD box to be able to make my own ISO using the latest CVS checkout.
Somewhere on the way something went wrong, because the build.sh script won't
finish. So I downloaded 2.3alpha1 and **succeeded** in creating the disk image.
Obviously, the changes to the bge driver (for Broadcom 5752 chip) have
worked out well.
Still get a few
errors, but the interface does come up, so nothing fatal.
bge0: firmware
handshake timed out, val=4b657654
bge0: pcie
mode=0x105000
bge0: ASIC unknown
BCM5752 family (0x6001), .....
I suppose it is
running as another chip version, but it works. Thanks!
If I can be of any
further assistance, please let me know.
