Hubert, Thanks very much. I can confirm that alpha5 does not panic and will boot into g4u correctly. The nx6110 still cannot be imaged though :) When a network cable is plugged into the integrated network card the following message is repeated roughly every second while the cable is inserted: bce0: data error I have a NetBSD 3.1-RC1 CD here, I'll try booting with that and let you know how it goes.
