Hi I image the dell 210L with G4U 2.1, 2.2 has problems with the USB controller. To image grab 2.1, last time I looked I couldn't find a link to 2.1 on the site so I copied the link for 2.2 and just changed the didgits to 2.1 which worked. This was a while ago though. Go into the BIOS on the 210L and change the SATA mode from normal to combination. Now when you boot from 2.1 it will no longer hang. 2.2 will also boot fine if you change SATA mode in BIOS from normal to combination but USB would not work for me with 2.2 and 210L has no PS/2 sockets.
Hope this helped Chris > Message: 1 > Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2006 12:14:44 +0200 > From: PoK <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: [g4u-help] help DELL Optiplex 210L > To: [email protected] > Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-2; format=flowed > > Hello All, > > G4u is not working with DELL Optiplex 210L PC. > Older versions do not recognize the eth interface. > > New (2.2), and newest alpha releases stop while recognizing SATA wd0. > > Thank for your help, > PoK **************************************************************** Arnold Clark is a trading name of Arnold Clark Automobiles Limited.
