I'm trying to image a new Dell 6850. A 2850 on which I tested G4U 2.2 worked great and was very simple and effective, so I'm very motivated to make this work on the 6850. However, on the 6850, G4U all versions of G4U that I have tried hang on boot at the exact same line. I have tried 2.2 up to 2.3alpha6. Here are the last five lines before the hang:
Uhidev3: 3 report ids Ums1 at uhidev3 reportid1: 5 buttons and Z dir Wsmouse0 at ums1 mux0 Uhid0 at uhidev3 reportid2: input=2, output=0, feature=0 Uhid1 at uhidev3 reportid3: input=1, output=0, feature=0 At this point on all attempts, the 6850 system hangs.
