Hi All, solved my problem. it was all my doing, but you knew that already. :)
There was no problem with dhclient after all. In short I was trying to load the mids stuff via PXE but was using g4u image which was too small. I will post the results of my little project to this list shortly. Hopefully it will be useful to others. It's basically a hacked MIDS that pxe boots. i.e. no more CD's and you get a cool menu for your image "slurping" so you do not have to remember what the images are called.
